1) Be respectful. I don't think I have to explain, but see more below.

2) No judgment, only honest love for the genre. Respect different tastes in spice, darkness, and tropes. What’s not for you might be someone else’s obsession.

3) Tag your triggers. Be mindful of spoilers, sensitive themes, and reader experience, especially around violence, consent, and explicit scenes. Although I suspect you wouldn't be here if that stuff bothered you much. Still, it's good practice.

4) Stay in the story energy. Keep discussions focused on books, characters, and worlds. No hate toward authors, readers, or differing opinions. This is a space for passionate, not personal, discourse.

Welcome to those who joined this group! I have to admit, running my own group on my website is a first, and I'm still learning the ins and outs, but I prefer it to using another platform like FB.

I've already had to deal with a scammer. The second member who joined was someone posting a link to "my website - Ines Gray contemporary romance author." He couldn't even get the information right in the post. 🤦‍♀️ Needless to say, I deleted the post and blocked him.

Sooo, if you see someone posting a link here, maybe wait to click on it until you see me comment. His post was obviously strange, though, and I was quick to delete it.

Because of that, I've been researching the privacy settings. You might see me experimenting with various things here until I get more familiar.
