Physical Appearance: 5'6", smooth, dark brown skin; dark, indigo/navy blue almond-shaped eyes; and dark, wild curls. She is described as five feet six inches tall. She has a biracial heritage that gives her what the CIA termed a "multicultural appearance" — the basis for her Nightjar codename. She is athletic and curvy, with a build suited to her espionage work. Her eyes are specifically noted as "sparkling like sapphires in moonlight" by Perez, and as "indigo, tinged with purple" by Val. At the novel's opening she wears a Vera Wang gown and false nails for the infiltration; later she wears mismatched men's clothing, combat boots with multiple socks, and a leather dagger harness strapped to her thigh.
